The Organizing Committee of the XVII Brazilian Congress of Toxicology is pleased to invite you to participate in Brazil's most important event in the area of Toxicology.
The congress will be held between 22 and 25 of June 2011, at the Convention Center of Ribeirão Preto, Brazil.
The city of Ribeirão Preto stands out as a center of science, technology and culture in the northeastern area of the state of Sao Paulo and during the event, participants can also enjoy the attractions of the city, which owns the infrastructure of large cities, but with the hospitality of the small cities. The congress venue offers ample space can comfortably accommodate the participants.
The central theme will be "Toxicology in an emerging economy: challenges for a sustainable world." Thus, this issue will address the role of the various areas of toxicology in the sustainable development of the modern world. Because of it, diverse topics will be addressed, such as nanotoxicology, new biomarkers, toxicogenomics and epigenetics. Besides these, traditional themes of the area will be addressed such as pesticides, Clinical Toxicology, Forensic, Occupational, Environmental, among others.
This event will be held by the Brazilian Society of Toxicology, which for over 30 years is working to develop the area, aiming the prevention of poisoning in the different exposure scenarios.
Renowned professionals, both Brazilians and foreigners will attend the event as speakers, providing a rich scientific atmosphere to bring together different areas of Toxicology.
